Dr. Kathryn Pham grew up in Orange County, CA. She graduated from the University of the Pacific with a degree in Biochemistry. She became interested in eyes while volunteering at an ophthalmology office, and then attended Marshall B Ketchum University for her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Pham took a particular interest in contact lenses and ocular diseases, and during her last year of optometry school, she did externships at several clinics including Indian Health Services in New Mexico, Veteran Affairs in Nevada, Eye Care Clinic in Fullerton, and Sharp-Rees Stealy Medical Group in San Diego. After graduating, she started working at a private optometry office and Sears Optical. Currently, Dr. Pham is an associate optometrist at our office in Orange. Her biggest goal is to educate everyone, especially children, on how vital an eye exam is, whether with or without visual symptoms.
Dr. Pham is fluent in English and Vietnamese. She is also able to do examinations in Spanish. She enjoys traveling, hiking, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with family and friends in her free time.
