What is considered an eye emergency?

+ Flashes of light (twinkling, iridescent, lightning bolt like flashes)
+ Floaters (grey or black spots, strings, crescents, or curtain like feeling)
+ Drainage / Eye Matting (white, milky, green, yellow, stringy)
+ A huge shift in vision, sudden blur
+ Foreign body in eye
+ Sudden vision loss
+ Blunt force trauma to the eye
+ Pain in or around the eye
+ Eye Injury
+ Any redness

We see eye emergencies every day and most of them can be diagnosed and even treated on the spot. Depending on the severity and nature of your emergency, we will be happy to make room in our program for an emergency.

Feel free to call us if you have ANY concerns!
Your eye health and vision could be at stake!

In some cases, an injury can mean permanent vision loss. We'll also set you up with the right specialist should your eye emergency require a referral and work on your behalf to get you in as soon as possible.
